Chocolate Chip Chickpea Bars
Ingredients
- 25 CUPS AP FLOUR
- 5 CUPS WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
- 3 TBSP BAKING SODA
- 2 TBSP BAKING POWDER
- 15 CUPS SUGAR
- 10 CUPS CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 3 CUPS VEGETABLE OIL
- 4 TBSP VANILLA EXTRACT
- 12 CUPS SOY MILK
- 1 TBSP SALT
- 1 CAN PUREED CHICKPEAS
Instructions
- DRAIN WATER FROM CHICKPEA CAN, IT'S OKAY IF THERE IS SOME LEFTOVER
- COMBINE CHICKPEAS WITH WET INGREDIENTS AND BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH.
- ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX UNTIL INCORPORATED. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO HARD BITS OF UNMIXED FLOUR.
- LINE 3 SHEET TRAYS WITH PARCHMENT PAPER AND SPRAY WITH NON STICK PAN SPRAY
- EVENLY DISTRIBUTE THE MIXTURE ONTO THE SHEET TRAYS
- BAKE AT 350F FOR 15 MINUTES. ROTATE THE TRAY FOR EVEN COOKING.
- BAKE AT 350F FOR AN ADDITIONAL 10-15 MINUTES UNTIL BARS ARE COMPLETELY COOKED.
