Oakcrest Preparatory Academy (OPA) is a preschool serving children and their families from 6 weeks old to Transitional Kindergarten, as well as an afterschool program.

Lead Teacher Qualifications

  1. Certificates/Courses – EDU 119, CDA Certificate, ECU 101 or equivalent
  2. Equivalent Course/Credentials will be reviewed at employee’s request
  3. Lead Teacher Experience in a Preschool/PreK/TK classroom is a requirement to be a Lead Teacher in Preschool/PreK/TK classrooms at OPA.
  • Competitive Wages/Pay = $18 to $20 (Pay is based on set criteria to ensure equal pay across all teachers and employees).

  • Shift/Hours: 8 Hour Shift with an hour lunch break.
    • Hours of Operation 7:00am to 630pm.
  • Attire: OPA Teachers can wear TWO uniform options.
    • Option 1 – Polo/scrub pant combination
    • Option 2 – Polo/skort
    • Employee’s cover 50% of uniform cost which is deducted evenly out of their first two paychecks. The total cost is $100, $50 will be deducted from your first two paychecks.
