Explorers Sign Language

Explorers Sign Language is designed specifically for our youngest students ages 6 weeks through 2 years old. The program teaches simple sign techniques for eat, milk, more, all done, thank you, and many others. By reinforcing key spoken words with sign, educators provide the children with messages both orally and visually, helping to focus the child’s attention while strengthening the child’s understanding of the words and concepts. By arming these young children with the power to communicate their needs, they are able express themselves, and reduce frustration caused from not being understood. Not only is your infant able to communicate their basic needs but they are able to recognize symbols and signs can represent other things which is an understanding that is essential before beginning to read.
